The present invention relates to the technical field of alloy processing. Disclosed is a processing technology for high-performance secondary aluminum based on the change of the morphology of an iron-rich phase, comprising the steps of: (1) preparation of a modifier; and (2) preparation of secondary aluminum. In the present invention, scrap aluminum is used as a raw material, and the morphology of an iron-rich phase is changed by adding a modifier, thereby reducing an adverse effect of the presence of a high content of iron in the scrap aluminum on the use performance of secondary aluminum, achieving reuse of the scrap aluminum, and optimizing the use performance of the prepared secondary aluminum. The use performance of the prepared secondary aluminum is tested, and the result shows that an increase in the tensile strength of the secondary aluminum prepared by processing by using the modifier can reach 32% or more, and an increase in the elongation can reach 106% or more.
