A computing system can provide multi-factor authentication. In the system, a second entity can receive a request from a first entity via a network to transfer a user transaction from the second entity to the first entity. The system can extract a user ID from the request. The user ID can be linked to an identity of the user in a computerized user management system of the first entity. The system can determine that the user ID is valid and assigned to a user. The system can determine that the user is authorized to transfer the transaction to the first entity and cause a code to be provided to the second entity and to the user in response. The system can receive an indication that the second entity confirmed receipt of the code by the user and receive the user transaction at the first entity in response.
