A palmprint verification method and apparatus, a computer device and a readable storage medium, the method comprising: when a palmprint verification instruction is received, using a preset camera to acquire an image to be verified, the image comprising palm information of a user; using a pre-trained region recognition model to determine a palmprint region from within the image; using a rotation-invariant local binary pattern (LBP) algorithm to calculate a standard LBP feature value of each pixel point in the palmprint region; according to the standard LBP feature value of each pixel point in the palmprint region, forming palmprint feature information of the image; and matching the palmprint feature information of the image with standard palmprint information in a preset database one by one, and if matching is successful, then the palmprint verification has passed. The present application improves the accuracy of palmprint recognition.
