PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a plating solution and a washing water simply at a low cost while carrying out plating treatment.;SOLUTION: In the method for regenerating a plating solution, a plating apparatus 10 is provided with a withdrawing means 14 for compulsorily withdrawing a plating solution from a plating tank. As a withdrawing means 14, a pump or the like is used. The plating solution compulsorily withdrawn from a plating tank 11 is brought into contact with a polyolefin-based fiber and/or fiber structure 13 disposed in a container 12 for the removal of organic impurities and organic impurities in the plating solution are adsorbed on the polyolefin-based fiber and removed. The plating solution from which organic impurities are removed in the container 12 for the removal of organic impurities is returned to the plating tank 11 after solid matter is removed from the plating solution in a foreign matter removing means 15.
