Container ports are composed of various subsystems such as marinas, blocks, and gates, and are composed of different types of equipment that handles containers. In the past decades, many studies have been conducted on improving the operational capacity of container ports by increasing processing efficiency in each subsystem, eliminating unproductive movement, and synchronizing handshake activities between them. As long as unexpected events do not interfere with the container's workflow in the operation process, high operational performance is achieved by efficiently scheduling container handling activities for each vessel based on a standardized operation process. Therefore, it is necessary to effectively control the operation process by looking at the manageability of the container workflow. The present invention analyzes the difference in operation of the container workflow in the operation process using an event-based learning approach, and evaluates operation manageability by considering the management factors (ie, logistics, equipment, and time) suggested from the analysis result. Comparative experiments were performed on actual datasets to evaluate the operational manageability of container ports for ships of various shipping companies.
