A composite including a product of a reactive fiber system and a reactive polymer composition, wherein the reactive fiber system includes: a non-woven fiber; and a binder including a binder reactive functional group, and the reactive polymer composition includes a thermoplastic polymer reactive with the binder reactive functional group; and wherein the composite includes a modified thermoplastic polymer including a reaction product of the thermoplastic polymer and the binder reactive functional group.
