A spatial data resolution-increasing method according to one embodiment is characterized in that a computer executes: an acquisition procedure for acquiring, as training data, point data that associates points within a geographical space with values for the points, and region data that associates regions within the geographical space with values for the regions; an inference procedure for using the training data acquired by the acquisition procedure to infer parameters for a multivariate Gaussian process model that is expressed as a linear mixture of a plurality of latent Gaussian processes; and a calculation procedure for using the multivariate Gaussian process model that has the parameters inferred by the inference procedure to calculate increased-resolution data that associates regions having a finer granularity than the aforementioned regions with values for the regions having the finer granularity from the region data, which is designated by a user.
