PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling transport device and a method for constructing a large-section tunnel skeleton capable of facilitating the transport work of materials required for constructing a tunnel skeleton and improving the work efficiency. SOLUTION: A traveling body that can move in the tunnel skeleton direction in the direction of the tunnel axis, a pair of out triggers that project from the traveling body in a direction orthogonal to the tunnel axis, and fix the traveling body to the tunnel skeleton, and a traveling body. It is equipped with a cargo handling device main body that is installed and performs cargo handling work of materials in front of or behind the traveling direction of the traveling body, and the traveling body extends in the tunnel axis direction of the frame and a frame having a rectangular cross section when viewed from the tunnel axis direction. A wheel provided in the vicinity of each of the existing outer corners and in contact with the tunnel skeleton is provided. [Selection diagram] Fig. 6
