PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule which has a pH responsiveness to release an inclusion substance in a specific pH range and can be produced easily and at low cost. One or more selected from N-substituted (meth) acrylamide and N-substituted (meth) acrylamide derivatives and one or more selected from (meth) acrylic acid and (meth) acrylic acid derivatives. It is a microcapsule provided with a wall material containing a random copolymer as a main component. Since these microcapsules can have a pH responsiveness that releases an inclusion substance in a pH range of pH 8 or higher due to a metal corrosion reaction, a metal rust preventive additive is used as an inclusion substance to trigger a metal corrosion reaction. It can be used as a self-healing microcapsule. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
