PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a livestock breeding device and a livestock breeding method for warming the body of livestock and sterilizing the livestock by using a superheated steam heater in a livestock barn. SOLUTION: The superheated steam heater terminal 10 which is a heating means for heating livestock by using superheated steam, and the thermography image capturing machine terminal 20 which is a body temperature information acquisition means for acquiring the body temperature information of the warmed livestock are provided. In addition, the body temperature of the acquired livestock is set in advance as a preferable body temperature for maintaining the health of the livestock, and the amount of superheated steam generated is changed so that the body temperature of the acquired livestock approaches the specified body temperature.
