A chatbot-based fishing information providing method performed by a chatbot-based fishing information providing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of: providing a chat interface to a user terminal; receiving a first message from the user terminal through the chat interface; Identifying one attribute, extracting a first response content from pre-stored fishing information based on the identified first attribute, and generating a first transmission message based on the extracted first response content, and providing the generated first transmission message to the user terminal through the chatting interface, and extracting at least one second response content having a second attribute that is at least partially different from the first attribute from the pre-stored fishing information and generating a second transmission message based on the extracted second response content, and providing the generated second transmission message to the user terminal through the chatting interface.
