The present invention relates to an exercise support device providing a target-oriented muscular strength exercise guide UI, an exercise support method, a computer-readable recording medium storing a computer program for implementing exercise support method, and a program stored in the computer-readable recording medium. The exercise device receives, on the basis of correlation between a ratio of muscular strength to 1-RM and an exercise effect, an exercise target as a value of a ratio relative to 1-RM and then selects target muscular strength, and compares actual muscular strength, which is calculated based on an electromyogram, with the target muscular strength to guide whether the target has been achieved. A study regarding the present invention has been carried out with aid of global design specialized company promotion of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Bio-signal composite monitoring wireless wearable band technology development and design capacity enhancement, project No.: 10077813).
