PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein composition with a protein metabolism requirement reduced by, rather than a single protein with an amino acid score 100 or more, mixing another protein, etc.;SOLUTION: An engineering method of a protein composition with a reduced protein metabolism requirement includes: (1) a step of selecting a first protein whose amino acid score is 100 or more; (2) a step of selecting a second protein capable of supplementing a first limiting amino acid of the first protein; and (3) a step of engineering a protein composition obtained by mixing the first protein and the second protein, serving as a step of determining a mass ratio with which a first limiting amino acid content of the protein composition is higher than that of the first protein, and a protein metabolism requirement of the protein composition is lower than that of the first protein.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
