Disclosed are a nuclear accident simulation system and a nuclear accident simulation method using same, wherein the nuclear accident simulation system comprises a chamber and a heating unit. The chamber forms an inner space in which a heating medium flows. The heating unit is located in the inner space and is heated by receiving energy. A specimen to be subjected to a simulation test is located adjacent to the heating unit. While the heating unit is being heated, the heating medium flows in a first direction from the specimen toward the heating unit, and during the simulation test, the heating medium flows in a second direction from the heating unit toward the specimen. In this case, the nuclear accident simulation system is formed as an integrated structure, and the internal pressure thereof can be easily controlled.
