Disclosed is an optical tweezers system based on a vortex pair light beam, the optical tweezers system comprising a laser device (1), a collimation beam-expanding system, a spatial light modulator (6), a confocal beam-converging system, a sample stage (12), and an observation unit, which are arranged according to a light path, wherein the spatial light modulator (6) continuously loads different vortex pair light beam phase diagrams in real time, and a single vortex pair light beam is used for real-time manipulation and rotation of particles. The optical tweezers system can achieve accurate adjustment and control and positioning of two particles at any position in a plane and any controllable rotational operation of rod-shaped particles in the plane, such that the optical tweezers system can be applied to more objects, and effectively solves the problem of existing optical tweezers systems wherein it is difficult to control and carry out precise directional rotation on rod-shaped particles.
