Embodiments may provide a shot boundary detection technique with more improved accuracy by multi-classing frames. More specifically, the embodiments correspond to a plurality of frames to a frame irrelevant to a cut according to a classification model that classifies a type of a frame related to a cut indicating a boundary between shots based on a transition between shots included in an image. and detecting at least one cut in the image by classifying it as any one of a first type that corresponds to a frame before the cut, a second type corresponding to a frame before the cut, and a third type corresponding to a frame after the cut.
