A deionized water production system for producing deionized water by supplying raw water includes a reverse osmosis membrane device (RO device) to which raw water is supplied, and a desalination chamber partitioned by an ion exchange membrane to supply permeate water of the reverse osmosis membrane device. It includes an ionized water production device (EDI device). In the EDI apparatus, an ion exchanger is filled in the desalting chamber, and particles containing a polyvalent metal are adsorbed on at least one surface of at least a part of the ion exchange membrane and at least a part of the ion exchanger.
