FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to obstetrics, as well as to the field of scientific research - pathological physiology, and is intended to predict the threat of early termination of pregnancy during exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection. In pregnant women with detected cytomegalovirus infection, the content of arachidonic acid (AA) in blood serum in % is determined by gas-liquid chromatography and in pg/ml PlGF by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The development of the threat of early termination of pregnancy during an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection is predicted by calculating the prognostic index (PI) according to the formula PI=-39.656-39.934×АК+2.698×PlGF, where PI is a discriminant function, the boundary value of which is (-36.026). If PI is equal to or less than the cutoff value, the threat of early termination of pregnancy is predicted during exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection.
