The transmission (14B) has a control unit (48) which is designed to control a gear change of the transmission (14B), a shift unit (36) of the first sub-transmission (14A1) and a shift unit (36) of the second sub-transmission for the gear change (14A2) can be switched in a time-shifted manner, preferably sequentially.
