The present invention relates to a prostate examination apparatus and a method for providing diagnosis information for a prostate disease, and the prostate examination apparatus according to the present invention includes a rod-shaped insertion rod 10 inserted into an anus (1); a probe unit 20 for detecting the prostate 3, including a main body 21 connected to the front end of the insertion rod 10, and a tactile sensor 23 disposed on the main body 21 and measuring a tactile physical quantity; a handle portion 30 connected to the distal end of the insertion rod 10 and gripped by the user; and a rod driving unit 40 for moving the distal end of the insertion rod 10 toward the prostate 3 .
