To estimate a timing at which a user's foot touches the ground during running by using an acceleration sensor mounted on the user's head or neck.SOLUTION: A running analysis device 100 for analyzing running of a user based on sensing data acquired from a motion sensor including an acceleration sensor mounted on the user's head or neck acquires Z-axis acceleration data AccZ corresponding to the acceleration upward in a vertical direction with respect to an advancing direction of the user detected by the acceleration sensor when the user is running, and Y-axis acceleration data AccY corresponding to the acceleration in a direction reverse to the advancing direction of the user, sets a candidate range R which is a candidate for a timing at which the user's foot touches the ground based on the Z-axis acceleration data AccZ, and estimates the timing at which the user's foot touches the ground with the timing at which a value of the Y-axis acceleration data AccY becomes lowest in the candidate range R as a reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
