In a method for video decoding in a decoder, the prediction information of the block is decoded in the current picture from the coded video bit stream.The prediction information includes a plurality of offset indices of prediction offsets associated with the affine model in the interprediction mode.The plurality of offset indices include at least one of a distance offset index, an offset direction index, a delta scaling index, and a delta rotation index.Furthermore, the parameters of the affine model are determined based on a plurality of offset indices.Each of the plurality of offset indexes includes respective predetermined mapping tables, including index and corresponding offset values.The parameters of the affine model are used to convert between a block and a reference block in the reconstructed reference picture.At least one sample of the block is reconstructed according to the affine model.
