A voltage-type HVDC system including a hybrid-type current limiter using a superconductor according to the present invention includes: a power converter for converting AC power into DC power; a current limiter for detecting generation of a fault current and lowering the level of the fault current; and a circuit breaker for blocking the fault current whose level has been lowered; A switch unit provided on the main current path through which a steady-state current flows and blocking the fault current flowing on the main current path when the fault current occurs; It is characterized in that it includes a lowering resistance. According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the stress of the circuit breaker by detecting the occurrence of a fault current and lowering the level of the fault current using a hybrid current limiter using a superconductor.
