a flushing system for a toilet with a flushing water reservoir (30); a flushing operation is removable by operation of a conventional mechanical flushing valve (3), which has a floating mechanism with at least one lever and one ending the flushing process associated with the lever, triggering the flushing operation (33).;The flushing system also has an actuator (20) which acts on the lever of the mechanical flushing mechanism and, in the event of activation of the actuator (20), causes the flushing water valve (3) to be raised to trigger a flushing with a desired adjustable elevation height. This lift height differs from a standard hub height specified by the flushing water valve (3), which is associated with a traditionally mechanically triggered flushing process.;The invention also concerns a pre-flushing system, a retrofitting kit for a sanitary facility to equip the sanitary facility with such a flushing system, as well as a process for flushing a sanitary facility and a sanitary facility equipped with such a system and/or retrofitting set.
