Disclosed in the present application are a Wi-Fi Aware link establishment method and system, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The Wi-Fi Aware link establishment method comprises: a master device receiving first connection information sent by a slave device, wherein the first connection information comprises a Wi-Fi Aware service name required by the slave device; the master device sending second connection information to the slave device according to the Wi-Fi Aware service name required by the slave device, wherein the second connection information comprises confirmation information, and the confirmation information is notification information indicating that the master device confirms the presence of the Wi-Fi Aware service name required by the slave device; the slave device confirming, according to the confirmation information, that the Wi-Fi Aware service name required by the slave device is present in the master device; the master device acquiring a Wi-Fi Aware data path request frame sent by the slave device; and the master device completing link establishment with the slave device on the basis of the Wi-Fi Aware data path request frame. By using the Wi-Fi Aware link establishment method, the speed of establishing a link between devices can be effectively improved.
