PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bit error rate measuring device including a DFE, a bit error rate measuring device capable of appropriately calibrating a DFE coefficient, and a calibration method of a determination feedback type equalizer in the bit error rate measuring device. SOLUTION: A preamplifier 32, a DFE 33, an error rate calculation unit 15 for calculating a BER of a signal to be measured, and a threshold voltage margin which is a difference between an upper limit value and a lower limit value of a DC bias voltage Vdc whose BER is equal to or less than a reference BER. From the threshold voltage margin calculation unit 16 for calculating the voltage and the threshold voltage margin when the output signal from the variable gain amplifier 41 of the DFE 33 is turned off, the threshold voltage margin corresponding to the control voltage Ctrl to the variable gain amplifier 41 is subtracted. A DFE coefficient calculation unit 17 for calculating the calculated value as a DFE coefficient is provided. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
