A position error prediction device that predicts the probability distribution of the magnitude of an error in position information for a position at which a moving body is thought to be present comprises a prediction unit that predicts the probability distribution of the magnitude of the error at a prediction site, on the basis of a prediction model, which indicates the relationship between terrain feature data indicating a terrain feature and the probability distribution of the magnitude of the error at a site having the terrain feature data, and the terrain feature data pertaining to the prediction site.
