PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation promoter capable of shortening 5'UTR. A translation promoter used in a cell-free protein synthesis system, the translation promoter is a 5'non-translation region linked adjacent to the 5'end of a coding region encoding the amino acid sequence of a target protein. A combination of the first sequence 2 which is a nucleic acid as a 3'untranslated region and the second sequence 3 which is a nucleic acid as a 3'untranslated region which is linked adjacent to the 3'end of the coding region encoding the amino acid sequence of the target protein. A translation promoter, wherein the first and second sequences have complementary sequences that form a junction C. [Selection diagram] Fig. 2
