[Problem] To provide an electronic medical record system with which it is possible to perform optimum administration of medication in the field of veterinary. [Solution] The present invention provides an animal patient system which is an animal patient medication amount computing system for computing dosage of a pharmaceutical product for animal patients, and is provided with: a storage unit storing a pharmaceutical product database in which pharmaceutical products and reference amounts defined per predetermined body weight for each animal species are associated with each other and stored; a body weight acquiring unit for acquiring body weight information of an animal patient; a computing unit for computing dosage of a drug on the basis of the body weight information; and a display unit for displaying a pharmaceutical product and the computed dosage.
