Disclosed is a prosthetic device (1) that can be implanted in the corpora cavernosa of a penis with erectile dysfunction, and the production method thereof, the device being formed by two cylinders that can be inflated with a fluid. The device can be implanted in a wide range of patients according to penis length and optimises the use of a low volume of the fluid to achieve a functional erection. The device comprises a variable-length erectable portion (10) formed by a chamber (100) that can be pressurised with a low volume of fluid and which is formed between an expandable membrane (300) and an axially extendable and foldable longitudinal rib (200). The membrane (300) and the rib (200) extend between a distal tip element (400) and an intermediate connector (500) from which a shortenable anchoring rod (600) emerges, the rib (200) being a single piece formed by a variable-length distal section (206), an intermediate section (205) that is foldable and extendable in an axial direction, and a proximal section (204) comprising optimised means for the continuous lateral supply of the fluid to the pressurisable chamber (100). The device (1) also has an integrated unit (700) for storing and pressurising the fluid, which can be implanted in the scrotum.
