The string optima having a leakage current sensing function of the present invention boosts a voltage supplied from a corresponding solar cell string in a plurality of string optima corresponding to each of a plurality of solar cell strings constituting a photovoltaic system, or a corresponding solar cell An optimizing unit that tracks a preset maximum power point for a string: detects a leakage current flowing between an output voltage of the solar cell string and a ground, and when a leakage current occurs, the voltage supplied from the solar cell string to the optimizer and a leakage current sensing unit for calculating a leakage current value based on the output voltage difference of the optimizing unit; a circuit breaker connected between an output terminal of the solar cell string and an input terminal of the optimizer to determine whether to cut off a voltage supplied from the solar cell string to the optimizer; and a control unit for determining whether to drive the circuit breaker based on the leakage current value calculated by the leakage current sensing unit. Accordingly, the present invention has an advantage in that it is possible to prevent a decrease in the efficiency of the string optima. In addition, the present invention has the advantage of preventing excessive boosting by preventing a decrease in the efficiency of the string optima due to leakage current, and preventing failure due to this.
