A decomposition method and device for a real-time simulation model of an active power distribution network. The method comprises: determining the number of networks to be obtained by pre-decomposition and pre-decomposition nodes on the basis of the number of real-time simulators and the number of switch devices in a real-time simulation model of an active power distribution network (S101); on the basis the number of networks to be obtained by pre-decomposition and the pre-decomposition nodes, pre-decomposing the real-time simulation model of an active power distribution network to obtain multiple sub-networks, and installing interfaces at the pre-decomposition nodes (S102); and allocating the sub-networks to the real-time simulators by means of the interfaces, and adjusting nodes in the sub-networks on the basis of the average resource utilization of all real-time simulators (S103).
