Channel system for guiding a premixed mixture of a gaseous fuel with air in the head of a premix burner for burning a premixed mixture of a gaseous fuel with air, where the channel system runs parallel channels (10) for guiding the premixed mixture of the gaseous fuel with air into a combustion point characterized in that individual channels (10) have a cross-sectional size (S) smaller than 25 mm 2 and individual channels (10) at the same time have a length in the range from 50 mm to 200 mm.
