The present disclosure includes apparatus, methods, and systems for runtime code execution validation. An embodiment includes a memory, and circuitry, wherein the circuitry monitors runtime executable code stored in a secure array of the memory device, receives an indication that a portion of the runtime executable code has been executed, wherein the indication is a received message authentication code (MAC) ) and is configured to take action in response to an indication that a portion of the runtime executable code has failed to execute.
