A method and apparatus for operating a blockchain-based Android malicious app detection ensemble model are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method of operating a block chain-based Android malicious app detection ensemble model includes: collecting Android apps and storing them in a database of an off-chain system; allowing a participant accessing the on-chain system through a client to access the Android app stored in the database, and receiving a test result for the Android app from the participant; deriving a final ensemble result for the Android app by using the plurality of test results as the test results of all participants are submitted; and transmitting the final ensemble result through a client according to a request for use of the Android app by an arbitrary user.
