The present application relates to an antibacterial composition comprising a fir tree extract as an active ingredient and a method for preparing the same. The antibacterial composition according to one aspect of the present invention can effectively control fish pathogenic bacteria, particularly Gram-negative bacteria. This is a new eco-friendly material that can replace antibiotics that may act indiscriminately and cause ecosystem disturbance. By adding it to feed additives or water quality improvers, it can solve the problem of generating resistant strains in the dense aquaculture industry due to the use of antibiotics.
