The embodiment relates to an ARIA encryption method to which a scrambler is applied. Specifically, this method modulates the ARIA encryption method by first performing a scrambler and exclusive operation from the plaintext and the private key before performing the round key addition operation. Then, a round key addition operation is performed. Therefore, when the ciphertext is obtained, the scrambler is systematically annihilated in the round key addition operation, and the operation result is obtained in the same form as the commercial AES. Therefore, the ARIA encryption algorithm is protected by using scramble to block the method of inputting an arbitrary initial value and secret key against a power analysis attack.
