The invention relates to medicine and can be used for early detection, prediction and treatment efficacy evaluation for diseases of the cardiovascular, nervous and pulmonary systems. The claimed method includes recording arterial oscillograms for subsequent morphological, temporal and spectral analysis, on the basis of which an adaptation index is determined which takes into account the adaptation reaction of the cardiovascular system to a Ruffier test. The adaptation index is a composite score derived from an index of regulatory system activity and an integrated functional vascular potential, calculated on the basis of a series of criteria for the evaluation of arterial oscillograms and obtained before squats, immediately after squats and after two minutes of rest.
