OFDM receiver, comprehensive:an initial channel pulse response sensor which, in response to a received signal having one or more OFDM symbols, produces an initial channel pulse response with a number of scan values;a time segment selector that selects a subset of scanning values from the initial channel pulse response as the subset of scanning values for the analysis of an intermediate channel pulse response;an intermediate channel pulse analyser which identifies pathways in the subset of the initial channel pulse response and produces an improved intermediate channel pulse response in a first non-linear process;a channel pulse promoter responding to the intermediate channel pulse promoter performing a second non-linear process to produce a channel pulse response; anda separator responding to the channel pulse response and the OFDM symbol to produce a distributed OFDM symbol.
