The present invention relates to a novel composition comprising a lipophilic extract of Piper nigrum, Zingiber officinale, Boswellia serrata and other plants used as adjuvant using a fluorinated hydrocarbon fluid as a solvent and prepared in a subcritical condition.The adequately prescribed composition is useful for local and systemic treatment of pain and inflammation.The formulation also has activity in muscle spasticity and neuropathic pain.The formulation of the invention exhibiting a powerful synergistic effect is particularly useful in treating osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis and psoriatic arthritis in combination with a single or specific drug.Formulation of the form of cream, lotion or massage oil is shown to reduce superficial pain, deep pain, edema and stimulation of any origin by topical administration.
