Problem to be solved: to provide a gas trap assembly capable of suppressing a pump failure and a system failure.Solution: a gas trap assembly including a base connector housing including an inflow port and an outflow port, a reservoir for fluidly connecting the inflow port to the outlet port, and a grooved porous medium disposed within the reservoir.A grooved porous medium comprising a plurality of pores including a plurality of grooves and having a plurality of pores of selected size.The grooved porous medium fills the reservoir into two parts fluidly to flow through the plurality of grooves and multiple pores of the grooved porous medium so that the working fluid flowing from the inflow port to the outflow port flows through the plurality of grooves and multiple pores of the grooved porous medium.A plurality of grooves and a plurality of pores are configured to prevent gas from passing through the grooved porous medium.Diagram
