The problem of the present invention is to provide a technique for reducing miscellaneous taste while maintaining flavor unique to barley tea even when it is drunk at an ordinary temperature. In the present invention, flavor unique to barley tea can be enhanced by including at least one or more chosen from 2, 3-butanedione and 2, 3-pentanedione in the barley tea.
