A determination unit 21 of this acoustic area reproduction device 2 calculates a filter coefficient corresponding to each speaker constituting a speaker array 1 by calculating, through the proximal gradient method, the filter coefficient gω at which a cost function has a minimum value, by using the cost function of Equation (1) defined as the sum of: an error norm f(gω) related to the filter coefficient gω between each target sound pressure at a plurality of control points set in an audible area AR1 and an inaudible area AR2 and each reproduction sound pressure reproduced by a plurality of speakers constituting a speaker array; and an indicator function ιC(gω) defined by an upper limit and a lower limit of an absolute value of an element of the filter coefficient gω.
