Disclosed is a preparation method for a micro-nano magnetic fiber. The micro-nano magnetic fiber comprises a core layer. The preparation method comprises the following steps: compounding: compounding magnetic particles and a base material to obtain a magnetic composite material; processing: preparing magnetic structuralized prefabricated rods by using the magnetic composite material; and hot drawing: preparing the magnetic structuralized prefabricated rods into the micro-nano magnetic fiber by means of a hot drawing process. Also disclosed is a micro-nano magnetic fiber. The micro-nano magnetic fiber comprises the core layer, the core layer comprises the magnetic particles and the base material, and the magnetic particles are distributed in the base material; the magnetic particles are selected from one or more than two of the following materials: metal magnetic particles, metal compound magnetic particles, and metal alloy magnetic particles; and the base material is selected from one or more than two of the following materials: polymers, inorganic glass materials and composite materials of the polymers and the inorganic glass materials. The method according to the present application has the general applicability to composite integration of most of the magnetic materials, magnetic composite materials and other functional materials, and a regulation and control capability is achieved on the fiber diameter, and the concentration, distribution and structure of the magnetic particles in the prepared micro-nano magnetic fiber.
