The invention relates to the field of the decontamination of fumes, in particular fumes from industrial combustion plants, including incinerators, and heating installations, including furnaces, for example glass furnaces. The invention provides a composite comprising sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO 3), sodium carbonate (Na 2 CO 3) and at least one ammonium salt. The invention also provides a process for preparing this composite and a depollution process using this composite.
