The present invention relates to the field of Internet of Things, and provides an edge computing-based Internet-of-Things proxy apparatus and data decision method. The apparatus comprises: a local communication module, used for receiving information acquisition source data sent by different terminal devices of an Internet-of-Things perception layer; a protocol conversion module, used for parsing or converting, by using preset different communication protocol specifications, the information acquisition source data sent by different terminal devices; a data analysis module, used for analyzing the parsed or converted data and making a decision to generate decision data; and a remote communication module, used for converting the decision data by using a communication protocol corresponding to a remote communication mode of an Internet-of-Things management platform, and transmitting the converted decision data to the Internet-of-Things management platform. According to the present invention, unified convergence and access of local perception data is achieved by means of protocol adaptation, and local analysis and decision of edge-side Internet-of-Things access data is achieved by means of the data analysis module, thereby reducing the pressure of data analysis and decision on a back-end management system.
