A method and system for retrieving statistics and raw data in a structured language in an open source big data system are disclosed. According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for searching statistics and original data in an open source big data system performed in a search system, the method comprising: receiving a query written in a structured language; converting the query into a format used by a big data analysis system; performing a search in the big data analysis system with the converted query; converting the retrieved statistics and original data into CSV format; and providing data in CSV format as a response to the query.
