This voucher management device 1, which manages a voucher, comprises: a transmission unit 143 which transmits voucher data to a storage device that stores voucher data of a voucher; a second acquisition unit 144 which acquires, from the storage device, information about a plurality of pieces of reception voucher data that is the voucher data received by the storage device; a calculation unit 145 which calculates the total amount of transmissions obtained by summing transaction amounts included in a plurality of respective pieces of transmission voucher data that is voucher data transmitted to the storage device from the transmission unit 143, and the total amount of receptions obtained by summing transaction amounts included in the plurality of respective pieces of reception voucher data; and an output unit 146 which outputs information based on whether the total amount of transmissions coincides with the total amount of receptions.
