A method and apparatus for predicting the amount of an oil/gas resource extractable by shale in-situ conversion. The method comprises: establishing an extractable oil amount prediction model for shale in-situ conversion, and obtaining an extractable oil amount of shale to be predicted; establishing an extractable gas amount prediction model for shale in-situ conversion, and obtaining an extractable gas amount of the shale to be predicted; establishing a total organic carbon lower limit value prediction model of effective shale, and obtaining a total organic carbon lower limit value of the effective shale; according to the total organic carbon of well log interpretation of an area to be evaluated and the total organic carbon lower limit value of the effective shale, determining an effective shale thickness, an effective thickness interval, and an effective shale distribution area for shale in-situ conversation; establishing an extractable oil resource abundance value model and an extractable gas resource abundance value model for the effective thickness interval, and obtaining an extractable oil resource abundance value and an extractable gas resource abundance value within the effective thickness interval of an evaluated well; and establishing an extractable oil resource amount prediction model and an extractable gas resource amount prediction model, and obtaining an extractable oil resource amount and an extractable gas resource amount.
