In the image-based virtual costume wearing method using the estimation and change of the subject's posture, the 3D human body model is formed by analyzing the image of the target person and optimizing the estimated skeleton and body contour to match the 3D human joint and body contour. to do; converting the three-dimensional human body model into a preset standard posture; mapping the three-dimensional human body model of the standard posture into a two-dimensional human body model and combining the three-dimensional human body model with a costume image; restoring the combination of the two-dimensional human body model and the clothes image to a three-dimensional model in which the clothes are combined using the three-dimensional human body model; and converting the restored three-dimensional model into the original posture of the target person and outputting a virtual costume wearing result image. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain a natural wearing result in software that performs a wearing test, such as a clothing design.
